Dive Site: Kangaroo Bommie

Location: Thetford Reef, Cairns

Description: Reef

Depth: 15 metres (50 feet)

Visibility: 10 metres (30 feet)

The viz was much worse on this dive than on others in Cairns. We went out to the tip of the reef and a then made our way round to the seaward side. We ended the dive by coming back inside the reef where there was not much in the way of fish life, just a lot of divers.
