Dive Site: Western Adventure

Location: Sandy Island, Carriacou

Description: Reef

Depth: 7 - 23 metres (20 - 75 feet)

Visibility: 25 metres (80 feet)

Rating: ****

Western Adventure is a steeply sloping reef that bottoms out at 23 metres and there is sometimes a slight current. The dive is suitable for beginners and experienced divers and is a good location for doing night dives. Marine life found on the reef includes shrimps, French angelfish and occasionally stingrays, eagle rays and nurse sharks.
