Scuba Diving in Fiji
Reader Reviews:
Dive Site: The Pinnacles
Location: Nananu-i-Ra, Bligh Water
Description: Two big pinnacles
Depth: To 80 metres (260 feet)
Visibility: 15 - 50 metres weather dependant (45 - 150 feet)
Rating: *****
Relatively difficult to find but the local boys can do it with shore-based visual references, these two pinnacles are great. Soft coral covered with anthias like Fiji is famous for, thousands of fusiliers, resident school of 30+ barracuda, trevally and mackerel circling, several varieties of anenome fish, stonefish and lionfish, octopi, reef sharks, mauri wrasse... I worked around Nananu-i-Ra for 6+ months, still visit regularly and this dive is excellent.
