Dive Site: The Canyon
Location: 10 minutes from Vassiliki Bay by boat, Lefkas, Greece

A surface swim of about 50 metres from the boat gets you to the location of the wall, 13 metres below the surface. After a free descent to the wall you can reach depths of up to 40 metres. As you make your way along the wall you find yourself in a canyon formed by another wall joining the main wall where sunlight forms shafts of light silhouetting divers. At the end of the caynon is a large cave opening at 32 metres and there is a slightly smaller exit on the other side at 24 metres. The cave covers 30 metres and it's wide enough to have three divers in at the same time. We saw many Mediterranean fish hiding in this cave as well as eels. Because of the cave and the depth this dive is best for experienced divers only.
