Visibility: 15 - 25 metres (50 - 80 feet)
Rating: *****
Also known as Batu Tiga, Mimpang is a group of four big rocks and another half dozen smaller ones. The rocks follow an underwater ridge that runs north to northeast. Mimpang's southern extent drops off sharply to the deep water, but the north shallows up to the mainland of Bali. The topography of Mimpang is diverse with sloping reef, wall, craggy rocks covered in hard and soft corals and big gorgonians and the southern end is one of the richest in Bali. The fish life is exceptional including schooling fish, unusual small reef fish and lots of sharks - the best chance of seeing sharks in Bali. Current conditions can be tricky, in some cases you will be limited to diving either the east or the west end of the point.
