Dive Site: Post II
Location: Menjangan Island, Bali, Indonesia
Description: Reef
Depth: 12 metres (40 feet)
Visibility: 15 - 30 metres (50 - 100 feet)
Rating: ****
The Post II Ranger Station is located on Menjangan's most southeasterly point, and can be a boat or beach entry. It is usually a relaxing drift dive. The dive starts at 12 metres where the white sandy slope meets the top of the wall. Normally the current takes you in a northeasterly direction. Slowly descending the wall, there is a profusion of soft corals, sponges, and gorgonians. This stretch is also the best place on Menjangan to see big animals such as mantas, sharks and other pelagics (depending on season and conditions).
