The Dido sank in 1883 and consequently there is very little left in the way of wreckage except a few lengths of metal and a couple of anchors. The wreck is located on a slope with an angle of about 40O. The rocks it lies on are covered with kelp that hides lobsters, dahlia anemones, sea urchins and mermaids purses. There are lots of starfish around and the occasional wrasse.
