Length: 87.4 metres (287 feet)

Depth: 43 metres (141 feet)

Visibility: 15 + metres (50 feet)

Rating: *****

Only 30 of the U861's type were built. It sank during "Operation Deadlight" and broke into three sections at a depth of 43m. Slack water dive only.

A fantastic dive, the wreck is home to a huge lobster and conger eel. It is still possible to see the batteries. Very exciting.
