Location: Gallipoli, Lecce, Puglia, Italy, Europe

Description: Wreck of a G45 Destroyer

Length: 110 metres (361 feet)

Depth: 80 metres (262 feet)

Visibility: 5 - 25 metres (15 - 80 feet)

Rating: *****

HMS Quail sank in a minefield 19 miles from Gallipoli during towing to Taranto from Bari where it was damaged by a German u-boat mine.
