Dive Site: Gavirifaru Kandu

Location: Kuredu, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives

Description: Hard boat, channel crossing

Depth: 5 - 25 metres (15 - 80 feet)

Visibility: 10 - 15 metres (30 - 50 feet)

This site is a channel crossing between two reefs. While heading along the reef at 25m keep an eye out into the blue for large pelagics, at the drop-off large numbers of turtles can be seen resting. Along the sandy channel large stingrays can be found and eagle rays can be seen looking up into the shallower waters.
