Dive Site: The Cave

Location: Kuredu, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives

Description: Hard boat, reef

Depth: 3 - 30 metres (9 - 100 feet)

Visibility: 10 - 15 metres (30 - 50 feet)

We actually snorkelled this dive site on our last day as it is easily accessible from the beaches on the north of the island. We followed the divers along the reef and saw plenty of life, including numerous turtles, eagle rays and napoleon wrasse cruising along the wall. Grey reef sharks could be seen out in the blue, and large humphead parrots, lobsters, baby black tip reef sharks and eels could be found in the shallows.
