Dive Site: Rheeti Thila

Location: Ranveli Channel, South Ari Atoll, Maldives

Description: Thila dive

Length: 50 x 250 metres (165 - 820 feet)

Depth: 5 - 30 metres (16 - 100 feet)

Visibility: 25 metres (80 feet)

Rating: ****

This thila is a group of 5 huge coral blocks with channels between them. There are overhangs around the sides of the blocks. On top is beautiful coral and lots of small fish. We saw sweetlips, lyretail groupers, emperor and blue-faced angelfish, bannerfish and scorpionfish. It was a nice dive because you could hide from the current in the channels beneath the blocks.
