Description: Reef / night dive
Depth: 16 metres (52 feet)
Visibility: 15 metres (50 feet)

Night dives in the Maldives are when predators come out in force so are not to be missed, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to see any on this dive. However, heading clockwise around the Thila there was a lot of life to be seen. Shrimps, lobsters, frogfish and lionfish all rested amongst the soft coral. There were also lots of small, yellow starfish and fire star coral. Towards the end of the dive I came across two turtles in sleeping in a cavern at six metres and watched as one headed to the surface for air. At the end of the dive I saw a spotted snake eel which slithered around the reef for ages.
