Dive Site: Turtle Reef

Location: South Male Atoll

Description: Reef / drift

Depth: 30 metres max (100 feet)

Visibility: 10 metres (30 feet)

Rating: **

A very fast drift dive, and not the best visibility on the day we dived. The current was ripping and we found it very hard to hang on. We saw a very large moray eel, batfish and good sized wrasses. The dive was best at about 10 metres were we saw huge shoals of oriental sweetlips, and shoals of broad stripe fusiliers.
