Description: Slope dive
Depth: 8 - 35 metres (26 - 115 feet). Most interesting at 10 - 15m (30 - 50'), not so interesting below 35m (115')
Visibility: 15 - 22 metres (50 - 72 feet)
Rating: ***
The bearing from BelleviewRock Resort is 110°. Suitable for PADI Advanced Divers or higher. The current is strong at 2 - 4 knots.
Start the dive with the slope on the right shoulder, going south to southwest. Head to 25m first then come up to 10 - 15m. Great drift dive, good for two dives. The first dive is in front of the small rocky island and the second dive starts just before your exit point from the first dive.
The reef slope is home to many coral heads and soft corals. Also very special on this dive site are the coral strings. Delicate sea whips (junceela fragilis), schools of Napoleon wrasse (cheilinus undulates), barracudas and batfish are found and manta rays (manta birostris) are seen occasionally.
Not nice snorkelling. It's too deep, with sandy parts in the shallows.
