Dive Site: Shark Cave

Location: 13°31'16.43"N; 120°59'39.59"E (Sabang Beach, Mindoro Island, Philippines)

Description: Reef with cave

Depth: 25 - 30 metres (85 - 100 feet)

Visibility: 10 - 25 metres (30 - 80 feet)

Rating: ****

10 min. sailing time in speedboat from Sabang Beach. Lots of fish, two sharks and some corals. If you want to see the two sharks that live in the cave you have to get up early in the morning. Between 6-7 o'clock in the morning is the best time to see the sharks in their. The sharks are used to visitors, but if you go inside there relatively small cave they might feel that you are bothering them and want to leave as you enter. Backing up from an oncoming shark can be a scary experience :-)
