If you want to get wet but not load yourself up with too much nitrogen then this small wreck along with the Lusong gunboat as a second dive are an ideal double act. The wreck is within 3 metres of the surface and goes down to about 18 or 20. It is situated only 25 metres or so from the shore of Tangat Island - upon which is an exclusive mini resort hotel set amidst full-on jungle occupied by parrots, monkeys and sea eagles - well worth considering if you want to splurge a bit. There is a short swim through the engine room area and the wreck is home to a wide variety of fish including some very friendly batfish which allow you to get within inches. It is a photographer's dream!
