The fantastic hard coral here has made this dive the best 'Garden' reef dive that I have done. It was so nice to see healthy large hard colours in such abundance. We swam through coral amphitheatre after amphitheatre and relished in the sheer scale of these remarkable formations. Around them were plenty of chocolate dips, groups of black and white snappers and masked pufferfish. This was an overwhelmingly beautiful dive and you could explore the garden for hours and not get bored. This is what all reef diving should be like, and even the fish seemed to look happier and more at home here. Diving here is almost surreal as you swim around the garden in the gin blue water with anthias flickering around the coral forms. On ascending I saw some Red Sea bannerfish and a cornetfish. I really, really did not want to leave the water even after 80 minutes!
