Scuba Diving in the Red Sea

Dive Site: Abu Ramada

Location: Hurghada

Description: Wall dive

Depth: 60 metres (200 feet)

Visibility: 20 metres (65 feet)

Abu Ramada is a wall dive ending in sandy bottom at about 60m. At the north of the reef there is a plateau that divers are often dropped at, which we missed as there was quite a current running and we were pulled away from it before we could drop down to it. Hanging in the blue along the wall was a nice dive in itself and a few jacks darted in for a moment. The soft coral and gorgonian fans made the wall very picturesque.
