Dive Site: Sernara Island

Location: Halfway between Fury Shoals and St John's, near Ras Banas

Description: Reef

Depth: 15 metres (90 feet)

Visibility: 30 metres (100 feet)

Rating: ***

The zodiac dropped us off in front of the island on the reef. This is a shallow sloping reef covered in many soft corals including prickly alcoynorian and leather mushroom corals all full of colour - purples, greens, oranges and pinks. We also saw a blue spotted stingray, giant moray, white margin triggerfish and a very large bi-colour parrotfish.
