Location: L'Escala, Costa Brava, Spain

Description: Caves and coral walls

Depth: 15 metres (50 feet)

Visibility: Very good

Rating: ****

A really interesting area with great dives all along the coast from l'Escala. There are many large caves, full of life and interesting rock formations. Also seagrass meadows which are a rich nursery for all types of marine life. Nearby there are two marine national parks where you can see massive, friendly groupers.
