Scuba Diving in Rarotonga, the Cook Islands
Reader Reviews:
Site: Arorangi Rock Wall
Location: Rarotonga
Description: Reef / drift
Depth: 32 metres (105 feet)
Visibility: 30 metres (100 feet)
Rating: ****
A really blue dive. The hard coral at Arorangi Rock is excellent, except where it has been damaged by Crown of Thorns starfish. The first thing we saw on entry was a small eagle ray and some orange spiney unicornfish. As I cruised along the sandy bottom I spotted two moray eels and some neon fusiliers. At the end of the dive there were about nine lionfish and a small white mouth moray.
