Scuba Diving in Rarotonga, the Cook Islands
Reader Reviews:
Site: Black Rock Passage
Location: Rarotonga
Description: Reef / cave
Depth: 26 metres + (85 feet)
Visibility: 20 - 40 metres (65 - 130 feet)
Rating: ***
Black Rock Passage is made from black volcanic rock that starkly contrasts to the white sand on the floor. The visibility was not so good in the shallows, but improved once I got some depth. At 7 metres there are some sandy gullies that lead to a small cave. Inside I saw a large lion fish right at the back on the bottom.
