Scuba Diving in Turkey
Reader Reviews:
Dive Site: Aladdin's Cavern
Location: Fethiye, Turkey
Description: Wall / cavern dive
Depth: First cavern at 30 metres (100 feet), second cavern at 12 metres (40 feet)
Visibility: 30 metres + (100 feet)
Rating: ***
We entered from the boat platform and swam in to the cavern which started at the surface. We descended down next to the wall to 30m, and could see another 2 entrances to the small caverns which are covered with dantelle corals and red corals. Lots of shrimps live in there and outside of the cavern there were lots of big grouper. After coming out of the first cavern we followed the wall which we kept on our left hand side gradually ascending to around 12m, there we arrived at the entrance of the 'Turkish bath'. As you go into this hidden cavern the bottom is around 7m and the sunlight reflects off the yellow rock face and sparkles like gold. At the surface of the cavern it is so calm and the top of the cavern looks like a dome with big hole in the middle so you can see the blue sky. Just great!
