Dive Site: Three Tunnels

Location: Fethiye, Turkey

Description: Reef dive with swim throughs

Depth: Top of reef at 14 metres (46 feet), bottom tunnel at 30 metres (100 feet)

Visibility: 30 metres (100 feet)

The boat moored on top of the reef and we descended down to 14m, as we started to go to the right hand side of the reef the bottom was sandy and at around 30m. We swam towards the end of the reef passing 3 swim throughs which gradually ascended next to each other and were full of coloured corals. When we came out of the last tunnel we saw a big grouper sitting on top of a sponge. Then our dive guide pointed at us to look up to where we could see a big school of Mediterranean barracudas while we were ascending to top of the reef. On the way back we kept ourselves on the top of the reef and we saw a couple of moray eels and lots of tiny purple nudibranchs before we the dive finished and we got out of the water.
