Location: From the Bus Stop entry take a 180 degree bearing and expect around a 10 minute slow swim. From the Slipway entry take a 210 degree bearing and expect a 10 minute slow swim. The Landrover is located close to the Wessex Helicopter and not too far from the Bus (head from the front of the Landrover on a 270 degree bearing and you'll hit the front of the Bus), and can easily be visited on route to the Stanegarth or on the way back. Due to its close proximity to these other attractions it is easy to visit several of these at once on a single dive.
History & Description:
The Landrover is an old-style green vehicle sitting upright on a flat quarry bottom at 21m. In a pretty poor state these days the wheels are gone as is the engine and the body work is battered. The front windscreen frame is the foldable type and now missing the glass is folded down onto the front bulkhead.
