Dive Site: Landing Cove
Location: Prawle Point, Devon
Description: Reef
Depth: 8 metres (26 feet)
Visibility: 5 - 8 metres (15 - 26 feet)
Rating: **
A nice dive, typical of shore dives from the Devon coast, although a real pain to get to. The car park is at the top of the cliff so you need to fully kit-up and head down to the shore through the fields of cows and over styles. Once in the water it is sort of worth the effort if you like kelp and seaweed as there is a reasonable amount of life and often very clear waters.
You really need to be fairly fit for this one to ensure you can get you and all your kit back up the cliff after the dive!
