We recommend our clients book their algarve holidays with Portugal Rocks. They can also help with hotels or any other algarve activities you'd like to take part in during your Portuguese break.

How to get there:

From the UK - Direct five hour flights from Gatwick on Tuesdays from October until April. Transfers to hotels in Aqaba take 15 minutes. If flying to Amman there are direct daily five hour flights from Heathrow . Transfer to Aqaba takes 4 hours by road or a shuttle flight of 45 mins when available. Entry visas are not required when visiting Aqaba, Jordan. A full Jordan visa can be purchased at the airport itself at a cost of about $18 USD / 10 GBP.

As Portugal's number one tourist destination, Albufeira boasts a dazzling array of excellent restaurants, bars and nightspots with plenty of live music venues catering to a wide variety of tastes from Portuguese folk music to the latest dance floor anthems. During the wonderfully long, warm, Algarvian summer nights, the community comes alive in an exuberant display of sound, colour and activity.

Luxurious days spent on the beach may be punctuated by taking one of the many boat trips along the neighbouring coast to discover unique and magical ocean-carved coves, inaccessible by land. Alternatively, Albufeira offers a grand selection of water sports and activities from paragliding to jet skies and of course scuba diving.
